Parking without a ticket:
Parking without using a ticket can save a lot of time. Use either your
fuel or debit/credit card directly in the ticket machines at the car
park entrances and exits.
Insert the card you want to use in the yellow ticket slot. The card
will then be registered and the barrier will open automatically.
Use the same card when leaving, and the charge will be registered.
In other words, there is no tic et to keep safe, and you skip having
to wait to pay at the automatic paypoint.
Parking with a ticket:
Take a ticket at the parking entrance, park your car and remember to take
the ticket with you. On your return and before collecting your car,
pay the parking fee at one of the paypoints in the terminal building.
It may also be possible for you to pay at the parking information
office in the covered car park.
Finding your car when returning:
It is now possible to pick up a parking place reminder on arrival at
your chosen parking area. The parking place reminders are placed at
the entrances to the carparks. The parking place reminder clearly
shows which car park you have parked in, and you then mark the row
in which your car is located. It is recommended that you pick up and
take one of these reminders with you.
If
you have a smartphone, you can also download Billund Airport’s app.
The app has a built-in geolocator which, when activated, remembers
where you have parked your car in which car park, showing you the
location on your return. The airport’s smartphone app also includes
useful information concerning mobile check-in, flight times, weather
map as well as parking options.
Disabled parking:
There are special parking spaces for the disabled in the P3 and
covered carparks. If both these carparks are full, just drive up to
the barrier and contact the parking information office (P-info) via
the intercom. One of our employees will then tell you where to go.
When parking in the covered carpark, you ONLY pay the fee for
parking in the open-air carpark from where you contacted the
information office.
Shuttle bus:
Airport parking includes a shuttle bus to and from the terminal.
The shuttle bus ser ice runs between centrally placed bus stops
throughout the carparks. You can call for the shuttle bus at the car
park bus stops and in front of the terminal building.
Reservation:
It
is possible to reserve a parking space either on the ground
floor of the covered car par k or in the P2 car park. Reserving a
space guarantees that you can park in the reserved area. If all the
spaces are reserved in P2 or in the covered car park, you will
always be able to find an empty place in one of the other car park
areas. To reserve a space, please
click here. The reservation fee is DKK 75. Please note that if
you do not use the space which you have reserved, the reservation
fee cannot be refunded.
Airport Carclean:
We
can also clean your car while you are away. There are several
options. Contact the car park information office (P-info) and
complete an order form for the desired option, and handover your car
keys. On your return, collect your car keys from the information
office, pay the cleaning charge and collect
your car where you parked it.
